Microfinance

Starting from the fact that micro companies are the driving force of socio-economic development, we have arrived at the conclusion that entrepreneurs-beginners whose access to financing is made more difficult are in need of an adequate financial assistance.

Since 2006, together with the Guarantee Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, we finance start-up projects of non-working women and projects for financing purchase of the equipment for women entrepreneurs from the territory of the AP Vojvodina. Loans for women entrepreneurs, the firs project of the kind in our country, enables non-working women or women entrepreneurs performing their activity less than three years to finance the start up and development of their business operations under exceptionally favourable terms.

In an effort to provide support to innovative ideas contributing to development of entrepreneurial activities and creation of new jobs in Serbia, in cooperation with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and the Association of Local Democracies Agencies we have initiated ALDA microcredits, intended for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The aim of the “Microcredit scheme for South East Europe” project is promotion of a long-term and sustainable local economic development in South East Europe through extending both expert and financial assistance to young entrepreneurs.
